- 2022 — Founded as a student organization at the University of California, Berkeley
- 2023 — Recruited members internationally; held astronomy classes at the Special Needs Education School for the Visually Impaired, University of Tsukuba
- 2024 — Published in the Sendai Astronomical Observatory research bulletin; ran two successful crowdfunding campaigns
- January 2025 — Performed "Soundscape of the Universe" at the Sendai Astronomical Observatory (about 200 attendees)
- May 2025 — Incorporated as NPO CURASCOPIUM
- March 2026 — Selected for the FY2025 Kando Taiken (Inspiring Experience) Support Fund by the Public Resource Foundation

Our project, "a next-generation planetarium that visually impaired and sighted people can experience together," was selected under the startup track of this fund's FY2025 program, which brings inspiring experiences to children facing economic hardship (grant period: February 2026 – January 2027).
